The Infrastructure Services Department at the Town of Fort Erie includes the Engineering, Operations, Parks, Facilities, Recreation, and Cemeteries divisions. Together, we plan, deliver, and maintain the essential infrastructure that supports our community every day.

Our goal is to provide reliable, efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable municipal services to residents and businesses. We are committed to delivering high-quality technical expertise and strategic advice to Council, the CAO, and the Town’s leadership team to support informed decision-making and long-term community growth.

Asset Management focuses on the long‑term care, sustainability, and performance of the Town’s infrastructure assets. This service area supports data‑driven decision making to maintain infrastructure responsibly over its lifecycle.

Cemetery services support the respectful operation, maintenance, and administration of municipal cemeteries, providing guidance on interments, memorials, and cemetery regulations.

Engineering plans, designs, and delivers municipal infrastructure projects. The team manages technical reviews, construction, and development support to ensure safe, resilient systems aligned with the Town’s long-term goals. Core services include capital projects, site inspections, environmental assessments, roads, drainage, traffic, and asset management.

The Trees and Forestry program supports the planting, care, and protection of trees on public property. This includes managing Town‑owned trees, responding to tree‑related service requests, and promoting a healthy, sustainable urban forest for the community.
