Cemetery Services:
The Town of Fort Erie operates three active cemeteries:
- Greenwood Cemetery
- McAffee Cemetery
- Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery.
The Town is also responsible for maintaining 15 inactive cemeteries (burials no longer occur in these cemeteries). In addition, we have two columbaria, one in Greenwood Cemetery and one in Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. The columbaria offer an alternative to the traditional in-ground burial of cremated remains.
Town staff work with families to honour the final wishes of those that have passed. However, we are sensitive to your needs and are available to assist and guide you through the decision-making process.

Greenwood Cemetery
1900 Thompson Road, Fort Erie, Ontario. Located east side of Thompson Road south of the Canadian National Railway and Bowen Road intersection.
McAffee Cemetery
2600 & 2601 Thompson Road, Fort Erie, Ontario. Located on the east and west sides of Thompson Road south of Niagara Boulevard.
Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery
3900 Farr Avenue, Fort Erie, Ontario. Located southwest corner of the intersection of Ridgeway Road and Farr Avenue.

The Town of Fort Erie Cemetery Division provides many pre-arrangement options in any of our three active cemeteries (Greenwood, McAffee or Ridgeway Memorial).

The control of the operations and care of the Town of Fort Erie Cemeteries is regulated by the Cemetery By-law 25-13.
