A long-term vision of ARID is one of "a hand up not a hand out"! Residents are required to attend 12-step meetings, take on chores and regain or learn new life skills. The tools provided focus on strengthening a person's self-esteem, motivation and the ability to return to their families and the community free from addiction and equipped to live a full life again. Beyond its direct service provision, BIAFE serves as a vital link to essential resources and support networks within the community.
