The Town of Fort Erie appoints new Manager, Legislative Services/Town Clerk (Peter Todd)

FORT ERIE (July 28, 2023) – Mayor Redekop, Town Council and Town of Fort Erie CAO Chris McQueen are pleased to announce that Peter Todd has accepted the position of Manager, Legislative Services/Town Clerk. Town Staff are excited to find a candidate who will not only meet the many demands of the Manager, Legislative Services/Town Clerk position but bring a new perspective to the role. Peter Todd will take over the position on August 21, 2023.

Peter brings over ten years of experience with municipal government and, more specifically, within the office of the Municipal Clerk. Peter previously held positions with the Town of Grimsby and the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Through his ten years of municipal government experience, Peter has advanced his skills coordinating various aspects of the municipal election process, and the digitalization of municipal workflow processes.

Peter has moved to the Town with his young family and is anxious to continue contributing to the community where he lives.
