What is the cost?

All featured events are free of charge! 

Where do I park?

Parking will be available at two locations: Fort Erie Leisureplex & Fort Erie Racetrack with shuttles running from each location to Old Fort Erie and back at intervals throughout the event. 

Parking will be limited to one side of the road in the area surrounding Old Fort Erie. Parking will be fully restricted on both sides of Dominion Rd between Adelaide and the traffic circle and along with Lakeshore Rd by NPC/NPP. 

Will there be food/drinks?

Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event. The Old Fort Erie Welcome Centre features a snack bar where guests can buy refreshments until 7pm. Food truck vendors will also offer their unique creations. A licensed area will be available at 5pm.

Will alcohol be available?

Yes, this will be a liquor-licensed event. There will be alcohol available for purchase on-site. Further information will be provided at a later date.

Will it be Accessible?

Yes! Mats will be laid to ensure those with accessibility limitations enjoy events by providing a way to navigate unsteady terrain. Accessible shuttles will also be offered from the Leisureplex.

Will there be seating?

Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs.

When will it start/end?

Events will begin at 3 p.m. and will conclude at 10 p.m.  

Will there be washrooms?

Portable washrooms will be available on the event grounds. 

Will pets be allowed?

Pets will not be allowed on event grounds (with the exception of service dogs that are clearly identified with service vests).

Will Smoking or vaping tobacco/cannabis be allowed?

Smoking or vaping tobacco/cannabis will not be allowed on event grounds.

How do I become a vendor?

We are looking to feature local food trucks and businesses as vendors during our 13 for 13 Cultural Event. Please visit our Call for Food Trucks & Vendors page to fill out one of two application forms. There are two separate application forms, one is for anyone looking to participate as a vendor, and the other form is for anyone looking to have a food truck featured.

We are looking for (but not limited to):

  • Restaurants/Food offerings
  • Crafters
  • Food Trucks
  • Fruits & Vegetables
  • Consumable Products
  • Locally made artisans
  • Retail 

How many people are expected to attend?

We anticipate approximately 6,000 guests to visit during this one-day festival. 

Will there be any road closures surrounding Old Fort Erie? 

Full Road Closures will begin at 6:00 pm, and stay in place until approx. 11:00 pm when the crowd has dispersed enough to be safe to remove them.

Full Road Closure barriers will be in place in the following areas: 

•    Central Ave at Lakeshore Rd
•    Lakeshore Rd & Dominion Rd (new traffic circle)
•    Dominion Rd at Adelaide St
•    Adelaide St at Dominion Rd
•    Lakeshore Rd at Adelaide St
•    Edward Ave at Dominion Rd
•    George Rd at Dominion Rd
•    Joseph St at Dominion Rd
•    Ferguson Ave at Dominion Rd
•    Malkin Ave at Dominion Rd

Will there be a capacity limit to the event?

Town staff will monitor capacity limits and may be required to limit access to ensure public safety.

How do we know if the event is canceled?

This is a rain or shine event. However, make sure to monitor our social media channels for important event updates. 

COVID-19 :

The Town will follow the guidelines set out by the Government of Ontario regarding safety measures for COVID-19 and events.
