BAY BEACH ADMISSIONS

Access to Bay Beach is free of charge after Monday, September 5, 2022. 


Bay Beach - Resident, Commercial, and Parking Season Passes Now Available for 2022 Season.

  • Resident Season Pass - available June 8 at Bay Beach entrance - $10 per person.  
  • Day Pass - available June 8 at Bay Beach entrance.
  • Commercial Season Pass - available now for purchase online (see below)

Resident Season Passes

Starting Wednesday, June 8, 2022, Resident Season Passes will be available each day at the Bay Beach entrance from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Resident Season Passes are $10.00 each and are available to any taxpayer and all members of their immediate household. To help lower costs for families, children 12 years old and under can access the beach for free all season, whether a resident or just visiting. Proof of residency or property ownership (utility bill, tax bill, etc.) containing a Fort Erie address is required at the time of purchase, along with a form of photo ID such as a: driver's license, passport, health card, status card, or school card.

Day Passes

A Day Pass can be purchased at the Bay Beach main entrance for $5 each (cash, credit and/or debit) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Starting in 2022 day pass fees have been increased to $10 per person on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, including holidays. Alternatively, beachgoers can purchase (credit or debit only) a Day Pass at a Bay Beach electronic terminal from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until beach capacity is reached. Children 12 years and under are free. Proof of residency is not required to access Bay Beach.

Parking

Starting Monday, June 13, paid parking will be enforced around the Crystal Beach area, so residents are encouraged to purchase a 2022 On-Street Parking Pass. Beginning June 6 – (Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm) On-Street Parking Season Passes are available for purchase online with two options: pick up at Town Hall, or home delivery. If you select mail delivery you can expect your passes from Canada Post in accordance with their delivery schedule.

Commercial Season Passes

Fort Erie Short-Term Rental operators can purchase Commercial Season Passes for $100 each. Short-Term Rental operators must have a registered 2022 Short-Term Rental licence in order to purchase Commercial Season Passes.

Please be advised that physical Commercial Season Beach passes are now available. 

 Short-Term Rental operators/owners may:

a) Pick up the Passes at Town Hall (1 Municipal Centre Drive) anytime between 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, save and except holidays. You can bring either a printed copy of the receipt (e-mailed) or your smartphone with the e-mail on it along with photo ID for you or the person you have designated to collect the pass(es). Please contact Town Hall via phone at 905-871-1600 prior to pick-up to ensure your order is ready. 

b) Receive the Passes via Mail - Passes will be sent first-class mail with Canada Post.  Please be aware that the Town will not be held responsible for delayed, lost or damaged items and we will not be in a position to reissue passes for any such reasons. 

Hours of Operation

Access to Bay Beach is free of charge after Monday, September 5, 2022. 

Bay Beach hours of operation are Monday to Sunday (including holidays) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. All Town beaches are closed from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily. Public access to the beach is permitted outside hours of operation unless the park is closed.
